Before Green Dunked on Paulus
James Worthy dunked on Sidney Lowe. Well, is it really considered dunking on someone if they defender flops out of the way? Yes. Yes it is.

Do you think Danny’s watched that video a lot? I mean it was almost identical except for the cardinal sin of Marcus passing the ball behind him to give Danny the dunk.

An overlooked aspect of the old school dunk is the view offered to the posteree by the shorty shorts. Ew.

BandBE’s comment just gave ME a cold shiver.
Two things I miss from that clip: Jim Thacker, and the old manual scoreboard in the corner…theres something that NEEDS to get in the museum.

Hey you guys call that old but it wasn’t that long ago. I kind of liked the styles then and would still love to be in Carmichael, even though it would mean I would never get to see them play live. I loved the atmosphere we had there.

Lets see if I can remember, what did 1982 offer music and entertainment wise. I remember Toni Basil’s “Mickey”, man what a video! I recall JR Ewing getting shot (for you Dallas fans). How can you forget that Ferrari on Magnum PI? 1982 also offered us Earth Wind & Fire’s “Let’s Groove Tonight. Get Down on it by Kool & The Gang was a big hit that year as well. Seems like yesterday to this 34 year old.

Also, Shake it Up by the Cars. “You can do Magic” by America. “Land Down Under” by Men at Work. And the best of that year “Beat It” by Michael Jackson, I’ll never forget that video with the “street-fight” choreography scene. Enough reminiscing for now.

Jimmy V calling for the travel.
